Vacation

I need a vacation....Doesnt anyone take vacations anymore? I remember growing up, it seems like we took a week or two every summer to go somewhere. Every 3 years it was Arkansas, (no seat belts, baby seats, and we slept in the window too by the way), We went to hawaii one year also. A few times we went camping with other families from our same church. I think thats part of whats missing with families these days, Maybe its time to change that. Maybe somewhere they dont have phones or electricity, but I really need to go to Washington before Oklahoma, LOL. I REALLY want to see New York City one day.

Yes ken there is a place without phones or electricity. You have to find it, it can be whereever you choose not to take your phone. You jsut have to do it. Dont let life get in the way of your life. What you have around you is the most important life you will have here on earth.

Kris fixed your comments, since apparently you didn't like what I had to say so none of mine were going thorugh *Harumph!!

Anyway...come to Oklahoma, I PERRRROMMMISSSSE!!! I won't tell ANYONE that you are here.

If you DO go to Washington, take you time and stop in Cottage Grove, Ok, trust me, it's WORTH it. Covered bridges, oh so peaceful...(and the best little coffeehouse there was!)

Whats in Washington? I thought it was only the best Brother and Sister-in-Law in the world. Humm now that I think about it we have had no visit in 14 years something to reflect on....

Now for the Vacation thing we have made trips to "vacation at Grandmas house" for years and we have had several camping trips with friends from church what a wonderful time we have had. The whole thing about vacations is...
1. Pick your date
2. Make it a priority
3. Be involved with a church (so you can have friends to go camping with)
and you will be surprised how things are the same and better.
Love Ya! =)
